Thermal management strategy

Server performance relies on fasteners that work seamlessly across each critical system. PEM® fasteners are engineered to meet these demands, including tool-less solutions, panel fasteners, board latches, ejectors and more.

Facility-level cooling forms the backbone of a data center’s thermal management strategy, controlling the overall environmental conditions of the building. Operating at the macro level, these systems are responsible for removing heat generated across the entire facility and maintaining stable temperature and humidity ranges required for reliable IT operation.

By integrating centralized heat rejection, fluid circulation, and air distribution systems, facility-level cooling ensures consistent performance, energy efficiency, and resilience across the data hall.

Chillers remove heat from the liquid coolant loop, while cooling towers reject that heat to the outside environment through evaporative cooling.
